The centre now provides an extensive Earth Education Programme. In addition the various centres provide an excellent educational resource which can be used for ecology, conservation, technology, or natural history studies. Guided nature walks, pond dipping, minibeast hunts and fossiling can be arranged. Earth education course and school parties are by prior arrangement with the Environmental Education Manager.
There is a coach park, toilets, a safe picnic area, and The Barn that can be used for educational activities or shelter in inclement weather.
